Prof. Dr. Peter Kenning holds the Chair in Marketing at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen - the world’s first business administration professorship with an explicitly neuroeconomic orientation. The science of neuroeconomics seeks to explain economically relevant behaviour with the aid of neuroscientific methods and findings. The Chair of Marketing collaborates in this field with, among others, the University of Münster, the California Institute for Technology, the London Business School, the Copenhagen Business School and the University of Oxford. Schindler Parent supports the Chair with a guest lectureship.

We work intensively with Customer Research in the field of consumer insights. For example, we conducted a joint representative study of attitudes and consumer behaviour in the 45+ generation. Building on this study, we jointly developed a tool which allows different sectors of industry to identify target groups and, based on a value orientation, to adapt their marketing strategy to the needs and behavioural patterns of the relevant groups.

Dr. Gerhard Wohland and ourselves are fellow participants in a study of so-called ”top performers“. Methods depend on repetition. Dynamics create surprise and act like sand in the methodological works. The innovative way to complement established methods is with top-performer thinking tools. Years of curious observation have led to the description of around 20 top-performer thinking tools. The application of tools is based less on knowledge than on ability and talent. In short: application requires practice, and success is only possible given appropriate talent. Wohland offers management consulting with top-performer thinking tools, prevention and salvaging of project disasters through transmethodic project management, problem transformation (only the right question is worth answering) and “managing board-proof” mediation. The scientist also gives lectures and seminars both at home and abroad.
Dr. Wohland’s book "Denkwerkzeuge für dynamische Märkte (Thinking tools for dynamic markets)", published by Murmann Verlag Hamburg (ISBN no. 978-3-86774-020-3) and with a foreword by Dirk Baecker, was received with much acclaim.
