Trade fairs are a chance for companies to showcase their products. This applies in particular for KLS Martin and MEDICA. MEDICA is the world’s leading medical technology trade fair. Every year in autumn, the industry meets here in Dusseldorf and presents the latest innovations in medical technology. We designed the framework for this event for the Tuttlingen-based Group, KLS Martin, in the autumn of 2015.
How do you create a surgical atmosphere without it coming across as cold? How do you convey medical precision while creating room for emotionality? By using an open booth concept that combines white elements with bright accents. A booth concept with two levels – operational on the ground floor, communicative on the gallery.

The KLS Martin booth was staged as an operating room and the surrounding environment, showcasing the company’s entire medical technology portfolio as a natural inventory rather than as an offer. Flat screens on walls and columns performed the same function as they usually do in operating room and universities: they were used for training purposes.

Well-positioned for the operative business.

Visible from afar, with a clearly recognisable brand. Open, inviting and impressive in every size, the KLS booth was one of the major attractions at MEDICA. KLS Martin was also impressed and have since stuck with this booth concept.
