That is our attitude. And our actions prove that.
The question is crucial. Of course it has to. Otherwise it will not fulfill its function. And of course: working in the sense of having an impact. Not in the sense of bills.
Over 1000 companies have already done it: created a Sustainability Code sustainability report. So do we. The difference? Companies above a certain size are obliged to do so. Not us. We did it voluntarily. Because that is the future. And the earlier it starts, the better. Download report
There is nothing good unless you do it. You can only create a report if you have a team working on it. This is precisely why we have now set up a sustainability team alongside our management team. Can it make a difference? Already. Because our management is part of the team. Now we don’t just have one sustainability officer, but five. And everyone knows what they have to do.
A good idea doesn’t care who has it. This is precisely why we also enabled employee participation as part of our sustainability reporting: ideas management via postbox and postcards, which anyone can use to make ecologically sensible, economically efficient and socially necessary suggestions for improvement.
Of course: sustainability has to taste good, otherwise it won’t catch on. And even if we don’t want to put sustainability on everyone’s bread, we have hired 80,000 bees in our agency garden to do it for us. And what can we say: it goes down well. Especially for our customers.
We are gradually switching to e-mobility. We organize e-bikes for employees and new company vehicles have a hybrid or e-drive. For business trips over XXX and under XXXX kilometers, we use the train whenever possible. That doesn’t always work, but more and more often.
It’s not so easy to determine when who consumed what – and how much of it. Especially when it comes to consumption in the home office or the consumption of suppliers that occurs during the realization of orders. Here we are on our way. But what happens in and around the house – we have that on our radar. And we are working on gradually reducing this consumption. For example, by using green electricity.
