What do you call a weekend that starts with sort of rhythmically moving, wildly wobbling Zumba hips, followed by a wheelbarrow race, and six coloured hats? Perfectly clear: It’s a absolutely successful one for the Schindler Parent creative team. Sounds funny – but it’s true.
Now, if you think we sent our creative minds to a team building trip, you are wrong. Because those one and a half days was all about ideas, ideas, ideas. The seminar taught by Imke Jungnitsch and Nicole Hoefer-Wirwas from Boost Seminars featured plenty of creative techniques in its programme. And eventually even more ideas came together on the wall. No matter if brainstorming, mind mapping, ping pong, six thinking hats, or BOOSter – the number of ideas that were created during the exercises increased as quickly as the participants’ enthusiasm.
The aim now is to not just keep the newly acquired skills in the minds, but to also integrate them into everyday life at the agency. It not only became clear that compelling ideas make advertising more powerful because they can influence people. It was also obvious that our creative team is great at team work and eager to develop extraordinary concepts and ideas for our customers. Now we need to fully tap this potential. Both for our customers and for ourselves.
